Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in America. Her most famous role was in the role of Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She was Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an infant at Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio, where she continued her passion for performing on theatre. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent one semester at British American Drama Academy. Anna began her professional career with Chicago-area theaters for a couple of years. She then moved on to television and film. Anna was chosen to play Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the 29-episode series Down the Shore. Anna continued to be a guest star in a few TV movies and shows like Seinfeld and NYPD Blue up to the end of 1990's, when she was cast in a role that she reprised in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. In the mid 2000's she was cast in Deadwood as Martha Bullock for two full seasons. The show was recast as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully in addition to Deadwood was a different film that she appeared in. Gunn has also appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. In 2022 the actress also was a part of a four-part podcast of audio plays called"Numbered Days. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's life tale and the tension in his relationship with Skyler are mirrored in the series.
